Hope, Help, Healing for the Homeless and Hurting
Hope, Help, Healing for the Homeless and Hurting
An unexpected turn when my beloved wife passed away after battling with dementia. Her illness was a difficult journey, and losing her left a deep emptiness in my heart. However, the challenges didn't end there. After her passing, I found myself struggling with the overwhelming task of managing our house paperwork and legal matters alone. Sadly, due to the disorganization of documents, I lost our house. The loss of our home was a devastating blow, and I suddenly found myself without a place to call my own. The situation worsened when I was evicted from the house, leaving me completely homeless. With no family nearby to turn to, I felt lost and hopeless. But it was during this darkest moment that a glimmer of hope shone through. The local sheriff's department took me to Crossroads Nogales Mission. At the mission, they welcomed me with open arms, providing me with shelter, warm meals, and, most importantly, a renewed sense of faith. Now, as I continue to rebuild my life, my focus is on finding a permanent place to call home. I am actively searching for housing opportunities, seeking stability and the chance to start anew. The compassionate hearts of the staff embraced me with open arms, reminding me that even in my most vulnerable state, I was not alone. I am forever grateful for the support I received from Crossroads and its staff, Raul, Jason, and Alejandra. Thank you and God bless Cesar.
